A russian piano pedagogical-genealogy. This list was found on UseNet, and was compiled by Roger Lustig. I have since added a few pianists to his list. The addition of Paul Pabst was suggested to me by Olga Bobrovnikova.

Adolf von Henselt (1814-1889). Studied with Hummel(student of Mozart) . Settled in St.Petersburg in 1838.
